Embedded Software Engineer
08 05 2018Key Responsibilities include:
- Utilize your knowledge and experience of embedded SW programming on Unix/Linux, C++ and related software coding protocols to design, code, test and validate in a highly effective, efficient manner.;
- Analyze software functional requirements and develop detailed SW design documents.;
- Code software per the design documents and perform unit testing. Track bugs/errors and correct in a timely manner;
- Properly maintain software build environment, coding scripts and system tools;
- Collect knowledge of SW design and development best practices and share with your colleagues.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering, majored in either Telecommunications or Computer Science;
- 3+ years working experience in embedded SW development on Unix/Linux for routers, switches, network management systems or firewalls. Broadcom or Marvel. Strong experience in multi-process, multi-thread SW design;
- Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills, Shell/Perl/Python script;
- Familiarity with Broadcom or Marvel chip set, and IPsec/IKE/PKI a plus;
- Good understanding of best practices in embedded SW development and strong working knowledge of embedded SW design frameworks;
- Fluent (oral and written) English and Mandarin Chinese.
